Introduction

Wild herbs and seaweeds provide a remarkable, inexpensive, natural supplement. Complementing and completing a healthy lifestyle. Thrive by including nutrient dense, plants foods.

Wild plants have extraordinary levels of minerals and phytochemicals; they grow mostly in mineral rich soils; unspoiled by industrial agriculture. Whilst wild herbs have furthermore undergone evolutionary processes which select for hardy, resilient, varieties; such plants may therefore often contain superior quantities of protective phytochemicals; produced by the plant in order to survive amid unshielded environments (i.e outside the "artificial" confines of farms). Phytochemicals are beneficial since they increase the antioxidant potential (promoting less cellular degeneration) and the medicinal value of plants. Whereas cultivated, hybridized, plants, at least since the beginning of the industrial age, are often selected by humans due to reasons unrelated to health promotion; mostly to increase production and profit; which, unfortunately, in most cases, compromises the genetic potential.

How to use our instructions?

We are determined to help people derive lasting value from our recipes and protocols, we therefore highly recommend users bookmark this page or print the instructions.

Below we offer varying possibilities whereby we may include these extraordinary foods in our lifestyle.

Herbal infusions

- Herbal infusions, unlike teas, are steeped in simmering water, about 4-10 hours, a process which thoroughly extracts the inherent goodness.
Whence the infusion cools, the liquid is strained and stored in a refrigerator, up to three days. The infusion may be be reheated if a hot tea is desired.

How much should we intake?

We recommend including 20-30g or 1 ounce per person, every day.

If, for example, we are brewing an infusion which is to last three days for a single person, we would use about 60-100g of dried herbs simmered for around 5 hours in about 4 liters of water, finally, approximately, 3 liters of infusion will be prepared. Whereafter, we would recommend drinking one liter of the infusion every day as part of our daily "water" intake.

Wild Juice Infusions

Juicing wild herbs provides even greater benefits. During the summer or spring, when nature is blooming, a winter stock may be prepared by juicing herbs thence and freezing the extracted juice. Ice cube containers, for example, may offer a convenient medium, for such enterprises.
